The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was over, but oil, gas and chemical dispersants have been contaminating hundreds of marine species. Countless animals were killed and sickened outright due to this unexpected oil spill. The Gulf oil spill happened one year ago, but scientists still don’t estimate its effects on most species. Dolphins, sea turtle, Wilson's plovers, seafloor invertebrates, oysters and etc are named as some of the most serious victims of the Gulf oil spill.


There are plenty of dolphins and whales have been dying since the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010. It is said that the deaths of these animals have been caused by the above oil spill.
