This September, Mario Lopez is releasing his new book "Mario and Baby Gia” which is about Lopez and his infant daughter Gia Francesca. The book will be released by Celebra Children’s Books. It was named after Lopez’s daughter Gia Francesca who is the child with girlfriend Courtney Mazza. Lopez met Courtney Mazza while he was performing in Broadway's "A Chorus Line".
Lopez is not the newcomer of the publishing world. Previously, he wrote “Knockout Fitness” published in 2008, “Extra Lean” and “Extra Lean Life”. His second book “Extra Lean” became New York Times bestseller. The third book came out in May 2011. The 37-year-old writer is also a famous actor. He is well-known for his role as A.C. Slater on "Saved by the Bell." He began acting career in 1984, with appearance as younger brother Tomás in the comedy series a.k.a. Pablo. Besides as a celebrity guest host for the syndicated entertainment news magazine, Lopez has made his appearances in many projects. He also hosted talk show The Other Half in 2001, America's Most Talented Kid on NBC in 2003, and Miss America in January 2007, 2009 and 2010. Currently, he hosts America's Best Dance Crew for MTV.
